At Decidedly Divergent, we believe that creativity, strategy, and grit can move mountains—especially when paired with a thoughtful plan and clear communication. Founded in 2024 by Schuyler Germann, this consulting practice was built to help small businesses and nonprofits bridge gaps, build experiences, and deliver impact.

With expertise in event management, project delivery, and public relations, we partner with purpose-driven organizations to turn ideas into action—and make it look easy in the process.

Meet Schuyler

Raised in Belgrade, Montana along the Gallatin River, Schuyler brings both grounded perspective and boundless curiosity to every project. A lifelong problem solver with a bias toward action, she’s known for her ability to lead with strategy and follow through with execution.

Schuyler earned her Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages (with a French language emphasis) from Northern Arizona University—all while working full time. Her professional journey has taken her across industries, with experience in luxury hospitality, higher education, nonprofit operations, staffing, and government communications.

Currently, Schuyler serves at the Local Government Center, where she leads major events, manages internal operations, and directs strategic communications. Prior to that, she honed her skills in marketing, project management, and event production across both private and public sectors.

Whether planning high-profile events, launching communications campaigns, or coordinating cross-functional teams, Schuyler has a passion—and a proven ability—to get sh*t done.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Schuyler outdoors soaking up the Montana air or buried in a good book—probably with a cup of strong coffee close by.
